1,000,000,000 gallons. That’s the amount of water Par 3 Landscape Management has saved across the communities and commercial properties we manage in Southern Nevada. It’s a number that’s hard to wrap your head around, so here’s some context: one billion gallons is enough to fill roughly 1,500 Olympic swimming pools. It’s enough to supply about 10,000 Las Vegas households for an entire year.
And we didn’t get there by letting things dry up and die. Every gallon saved came while maintaining and improving the health of the plants, trees, and turf on the properties we serve.
How the Numbers Add Up
We currently manage water on approximately 50 communities and commercial properties across the Las Vegas Valley. That’s about 425 irrigation clocks running across 8 different controller platforms. Every single one of those systems is actively monitored and adjusted by our water management team.
The savings aren’t estimates. They’re calculated using actual LVVWD meter readings, compared against a three-year prior average of water use on each property. When we say we saved a billion gallons, we have the data to back it up, and we share that data with our communities through monthly reports and charts that show exactly where they stand.
To put the real-world impact in perspective, here’s what two communities experienced in 2025 alone:
The Vistas: 15 million gallons saved and $181,012 in cost savings. 2025 was the first full year with WeatherTRAK smart controllers managing the streetscape.
Paseos (southern half): 8.8 million gallons saved and $71,915 in cost savings. Like the Vistas, this was the first full year with smart controllers in operation on the older section of the community.
That’s nearly 24 million gallons and over $250,000 in savings from just two properties in a single year.

We water less frequently but with longer run times, which pushes roots deeper into the soil where it’s cooler and moisture lasts longer.
